Appreciative Inquiry in a Day
Join us as we come together as a community to build on our strengths and dreams for young children and families in Rock Island County!
On Wednesday, February 1st we will be spending a day together (8:30am-4:30pm) to bring the process of Appreciative Inquiry to our Rock Island County community to identify how we will use the strengths in our community to address needs and opportunities to support families with young children.
We hope you can be a part of the conversation. Anyone in the community interested in a being a part of the identification of our community strategic priority areas around supporting young children and their families are invited to join us!
As a Network coming together to impact long term change for children and families in our community we will:
- Value the best of what is.
- Envision what might be.
- Innovate what will be.

The Rock Island County All Our Kids Early Childhood Network is dedicated to provide a space for community members to gather and come together around the issues and opportunities facing our community. We recognize these can be challenging times for children and families in our community, as well as the agencies that serve them.
However, we believe that as a community what we can do is come together to have a space to acknowledge the barriers we have and name the elephants in our rooms, and also to recognize and celebrate the assets and resources that remain in our community and come together to sustain a strong community united in supporting children and families. We may not know all the answers, but we feel the best place to start is with the conversation.
Please continue to visit this page for harvest notes from previous conversations and for information on upcoming conversations.
